About Me

I am a child of God. I am the fourth of five children. I am a sister and a daughter. I am wife to the best husband on the planet. I am mother of three beautiful children. I am a homemaker. I am a teacher and beginning homeschooling mom. I am a procrastinator. I am a surface cleaner and terrible deep cleaner. I am adventurous and like a good challenge. I want to learn how to be a better mom and wife everyday. One of the greatest and hardest lessons I have learned in life thus far, is that having children challenges me every moment to be a better person. It brings out and magnifies my flaws. It humbles me more than anything else ever has. It gives God plenty of deep hidden places in my heart to work on and one opportunity after another to do so. I could never do this job of motherhood without Jesus. I hang on his hope, direction and strength everyday. I love to spend time with my husband and children. We like being outdoors, camping, watching movies, going to the beach riding bikes and playing superman games. ;) Those of you who know me well, know that I love basking in the sun more than anything. A sunny day takes all my cares away. I like cupcakes and crab legs...but not together. I LOVE squeezing the chubby cheese rolls on babies. Thank God He gave me 3 babies with plenty of extra chub! Well...I pray that in reading this blog you see the love I have for my family and friends and that you would be blessed by seeing glimpse of Jesus in our family.
