Puffers at the Pumpkin Patch '09

We had a fun day at the pumpkin patch with Uncle Jason, Auntie Rachel and Baby Sophia who just moved up here near us. It's so nice to know we can hang out whenever we want to and don't have to drive halfway down CA to do it!

The biggest pumpkin I've ever seen

Daddy wheeled us around in the Barrell as we picked out pumpkins. Corn is my favorite food in the whole world and I couldn't understand why this corn was so hard to eat. Faylen and Sophia: the cutest cousins in the world!

The fam on the Hay ride. It was really beautiful with thousands of Marigold flowers.

I got to go on a train ride!!!!

Look at these giant pumpkins! The biggest was 1,500lbs!

3 Munchkins for just $1...What a great deal!!

These pumpkins were perfect for sissy, since her nick name is Sugar Pie. Mommy even calls her Sugar Pumpkin Pie all the time.

Sissy found the best pumpkin. I named it Larry cuz it looks
just like Larry the cucumber from Veggie Tales

There were scarecrows everywhere!

A Special Visit

Auntie Natasha and Uncle Dan (Dad's half sister and brother in law) came all the way down from Washington to visit us. It was the first time Faylen had met them. Thanks for traveling all that way! We hope to see you again soon!

Don't Grandma and Colleen look like sisters here?

Another trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium

We are trying to go as much as possible before our year pass runs out.

Look! Dory! Dory! Dory!

Nuggles, Nuggles, and more Nuggles! (snuggles)

Uncle Jason stayed with us for a couple weeks. We got lots of nuggles.

Getting a nuggle while watching a movie. Quite a comfy pillow I might add. :)

Disneyland 2009

We took a trip to LA for one short fun filled weekend. We got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Heyman, Shosh and Josh. It was the first time we'd been back there since I was 1 month old. We got to go swimming and relax by the pool for the day. Then we headed to Encinitas where we celebrated Aunt Sandi's 60th surprise Bday party dinner. She was soooo surprised. Uncle Ryan did a great job planning such a big party. Then the next morning we headed to Disneyland to continue celebrating for Sandi's bday. We arrived at 9am and didn't leave till 12:30am. That's 17 hours!!!!! We went on TONS of rides, watched the fireworks show and Fantasmic, and Grandma Jill spoiled us with gifts and toys from Disneyland. We were soooo tired that we barely made it back to the car by the end of the day.
It was a fun and exhausting trip. Mom and Dad say that we probly won't be back to Disneyland for a while. I think they got their fill, and I think the fact that this is the only year both Faylen and I get in free has something to do with it. ;)

Happy Bday Sandi!
Faylen and I enthralled with the Star Wars show during lunch:
Fireworks at Disneyland (sorry it's a little dark)
It's A Small World After All (and it's almost midnight)
Faylen chowing down in the high chair that was mom's when she was a little girl.

Faylen and Josh.....2 peas in a pod.
G-ma Susan refinished this old play rocking cradle that Granpa Jim made for mommy when she was a little girl. Now it's been passed down to Faylen. It's just perfect for her little baby dolls she's obsessed with. They kept joking about how after grandma had 3 boys she was so excited to have my mom so she could do girly things like play dolls. Apparently mom just used the cradle grandpa made to store and rock footballs. Mom never quite understood the whole baby doll thing. It took her forever to realize she needed to buy one for Faylen. Now Faylen has never been more content.

Click here to see the video of Faylen just after she opened her present of twin dolls and a double stroller from grandma Susan. It's pretty darn cute to see her instant natural instincts:

My new Nemo shirt and my new sword Grandma Jill got me at Disneyland.

Me in my nerdy swim suit. I feel like a geeky European or something, but when I wear it I can swim all around the pool all by myself! I love it! I'm helping grandpa put together my new T-Ball set he got me.

Love and miss you all!

2 Weeks without mommy

So mom had to take a 2 week course all day in San Jose for her work. She missed us terribly, but we had so much fun with family who came to visit and babysit. The first week G-ma and G-pa Heyman, Uncle Josh and Auntie Shosh came and took care of us. They also worked really hard helping dad tear down a huge portion of the wall between our kitchen and living room. It looks sooooo amazing now! Thank you for all your hard work and help. The 2nd week Aunt Sandi spent her vacation babysitting us. We had so much fun getting to really know her better and playing with PLAY DOUGH! My favorite.

G-ma Jill came to visit last weekend too! We went to the beach and played in the sand/water.

Look at us nerdos. First family ride in Aunt Sandi's convertable Solara.

You have to watch this funny video of us in the back of the convertable. My sissy and I were having too much. Poor Faylen could barely breath with all the wind in her face.
