Roaring Camp

Grandma Jill took us to Roaring Camp at Henry Cowell State park up in the Redwoods near Felton (where we lived when I was born). We got to go for an hour long ride on a steam TRAIN through the mountains!!!! I loved when it went, "choooo chooo" really loud. Then we had a BBQ picnic, jumped in a jump house, ate ice cream, and then grandma spoiled us with new toys from the gift shop. Thanks G-ma! I LOVE TRAINS!

Someday I'll get a train set of my own just like this one!

Faylen in her new little pink bonnet. Doesn't she look like she's from another era?

This made me miss our old house on the farm with the red barns.

Aunties, Uncles and Cousins Part I (Puffers)

3 Amigos

So as many of you know Uncle Jason, Aunt Rachel and cousin Sophie are moving up here from LA in a couple months. We just can't wait till they are here and we can have play dates everyday. Grandma and Grandpa Spencer have also recently moved up here. We are sooo happy to finally be near family. Jason Rachel and Sophia came for a couple visits just getting to know the area and house hunting. Please pray that they find the perfect house. Magnus and their dog, Sadie, had a blast playing together. They are both puppies and just about the same exact age.

Aunties, Uncles and Cousins Part II (Heymans)

Auntie Sammie, Uncle J, and Cousins Isaiah, Thea and Silas came for a special visit from France. They are on furlow for a couple of months here in the States. We got to have them to ourselves at our house for a couple days. We had fun catching up, playing at the park, sliding on the slip 'n slide and making s'mores. We miss you guys so much and had a blast visiting with you. May God bless your missions in France including all the big new changes you have coming up!

4th of July in Tahoe

This year we went to Tahoe again for the 4th. It seems to be a tradition. I think mom and dad have been there on the 4th for the past 4 years. For the last two years they took us babies camping when we were each only about 6 weeks old. This year we stayed in a nice cabin that Grandma and Grandpa have been living in. We got to play on the beach and go swimming with uncle Josh and Auntie Shosh. We went on a hike with uncle Nate, fishing with daddy, swimming the river, swimming in the hot springs and pool all day (I totally learned how to swim and was fearless when it came to the water), and watched a great fireworks show in Carson City (We got to sit right under them. Faylen and I loved the loud BOOM). Thanks for having us G-ma and G-pa. We had sooo much fun!

Momma's Birthday

Dad did a great job planning a special Bday for mom. This is how all the surprises of the day went:
-Dad made her a special breakfast and gave her a beautiful Orchid.
-We packed up and went into SC where mom got a massage at a really nice spa (although she's only been to a few, spa's are mom's favorite places on earth)
-then dad rented out our own private spa room with hot tub and sauna. We had fun playing in the water.
-We walked around downtown and did some fun thrift store shopping.
-ate lunch outside at the Bagelry.
-Drove over the hill to San Jose and played at a park.
-Then we got dropped at Grandma Jill and Auntie Colleen's. They babysat us for the rest the night.
-Mom and Dad went to a movie and dinner (sushi....mom's favorite)
It was a really fun day. Mom had so much fun she forgot all about taking pics. :( Sorry.
